Welcome And The 30-Second Challenge
SPEAKER_00Hello everyone, I'm Fran. Welcome to my channel where we explore business basics and self-improvement to inspire and motivate you. If you're ready to level up, hit subscribe and join the journey.
FranWhat if you could articulate your business value in 30 seconds? When your business value is clear in 30 seconds, you ignite motivation and creativity, turning curiosity into a meaningful conversation that leaves the listener wanting to know what comes next. By the end of this session, you will identify who you help, what you do and why it matters. Hello, I'm Fran, your NLP and business coach. I know you freeze sometimes when someone asks you what you do. I'm here to guide you to a clear answer you can share anywhere. Get ready to take notes, turn ideas into action, and let's ignite our entrepreneurial potential together.
Step One Define Your Role
FranIdentify who you are is the first step. And I know that may sound a little ridiculous because you know who you are, however, this is in the context of business. So the outcome is to clearly and concisely state who you are when you're introducing yourself. So ask yourself, who am I? What is my main role right now? If I had to introduce myself in 10 seconds, what would I say? Is my introduction clear to a stranger? And you can think about these, you can screenshot this, brain dump on it, journal on it, whatever works for you. There's no wrong or right answer. So an example of this would be hello, I'm Fran, I'm an NLP coach. Though I might adjust that depending on who I'm speaking to and the context in which I'm speaking to them. So I might explain that it's neurolinguistic programming, so I might say I'm a neurolinguistic programming coach, I might go straight in with business coaching. Depends on who I'm speaking to and when I'm speaking to them. So you can tweak and adjust this to fit the occasion. So here's a simple framework to get you started. Hello, I'm and you say your name, and then you say your main role. So again, an example of this from me would be hello, I'm Fran, I'm a business coach. Remember, there's no wrong or right to this, this is just a simple framework just to help you while you're learning and growing. You can tweak and adjust things as you go along.
Step Two State Your Value
FranYour value offering is the second step. The outcome is to clearly state the main value or benefit your work provides for your audience. So ask yourself what problem do I solve for my audience? What change does my work make for them? What is the main benefit my audience gets? And remember you can journal on this, brain dump on it, do a big old mind map or screenshot it, whatever works for you. An example of this would be that your audience is small creators. Problem you solve is that they struggle to earn consistent income while staying creative, and a value offering is I help small creators build reliable revenue streams without sacrificing creative freedom. The main benefit of this would be consistent income plus freedom to create what they love. And remember there's no wrong or right to this, we're learning and growing, and you can adjust things as you go along. You can do it, I know you can do it, and I know that you know you can do it. And to elevate your business, I've created a complementary template bundle. You can download it via the link in the description, and it contains simple templates just to help you get going or to refresh knowledge that you already have.
Step Three Add A Clear Next Step
FranCall to action is your third step. The outcome is to end your elevator pitch with a clear next step that invites conversation or action. Now, why did I just use the term elevator pitch? And it's because it's often what this type of introduction is called. It's the length of time between one floor and another that you get to introduce yourself and say what you do or what you want. And of course, in the UK we tend to use the term lift instead of elevator. It doesn't quite have the same ring to it. So ask yourself what is the next step I want someone to take after hearing my pitch. Now that could be that you want them to go to your website. Ask yourself what's one easy way to keep the conversation going, and that could be to book a call with you. And ask yourself what do I want to happen? And an example of that could be that you want connection, networking, vanity metrics or referrals. Now, vanity metrics aren't a bad thing because you might want subscribers, followers, and you need to get your numbers up. So just think about the intention of your call to action.

FranSo here is a simple framework to help you get started. Hello, I am, and you insert your name, my role, so that's what you're doing. I help, and then the audience that you're helping, uh, your ideal audience, your ideal clients, and you solve, so that's the problem that you're solving by, and then that's the solution that you're offering. This helps them, so what benefit does it bring? In, and then you could add a time frame for that, so it could be six months, six weeks, twelve months. If you'd like to see how that works, let's, and then you insert your call to action. So, an example of this would be hello, I'm Fran, NLP and Business Coach. I help creatives who feel stuck translate ideas into clear, credible messages by blending practical business steps with simple mindset techniques. This helps them attract the right clients and book interesting projects in six weeks. If you'd like to see how it works, let's schedule a call or let's schedule a 15-minute chat. And you could tweak and refine and change this, and I invite you to as well. So, obviously, it doesn't need to be that wordy, but it's just an idea to get you started.
